IMPORTANT INFORMATION...

1. Stats are now updated. If your name is highlighted in YELLOW you have met the minimum qualifications to be invited to our Championship Contest on April 21, 2012 on the south side of the Huntington Beach Pier. If your name is highlighted in BLUE you need one more event to qualify. Of course, we are still counting your points so, don't forget to sign up for our final open contest of the year on Saturday, March 3rd, at Ninth Street! Invitations to the CHAMPIONSHIP will be handed out at the March 3rd event! If you have three events and want to be in the Championship make sure that you are in the next contest!
2. Deadline for pre-registration for contest #7 is Monday, February 27th at 5:00pm.

4. Please do not mail registrations with a signature required as they may not be delivered in time for the event.
Who are we...
The NSSA JR is a surfing organization who belongs to the well respected National Scholastic Surfing Association, a place where WORLD CHAMPION surfers are born!
We provide a surfing venue for students in grades 6-12 who enjoy the sport of surfing and want to start participating in surfing competitions, experience different surfing locations, participate in a life-long sport and improve their contest surfing skills

If you have never participated in a surfing contest, or, if you have a need to tighten up an dsharpen your contest surfing skills, consider joining the NSSA JR!
The NSSA JR offers 5 Divisions for you to participate in...
Joining the NSSA JR is simple. You will need to obtain a membership application by either downloading one on our site or getting one from a local surf shop. If you do not live near one these shops simply email us and we will send one out to the address you indicate.
Of the NSSA JConferences the NSSA JR offers the most reasonable membership and contest rates you will find in most surfing competitions. You will need to join the JR program in order to participate in our events, however, if you are a member of the NSSA OPen, Exlorer, Gold Coast, or any other division of the NSSA you do not need to join the JR program as your membership in those divisions will be honored.

- MIddle School Shortboarding (6-8 grade)
